SF Media are delighted to announce today (5th December) the acquisition of Scottish Pharmacist & Pharmacy In Focus NI from Profile Publishing.
The popular awards and publications for Scotland and Northern Ireland have become a must read and a must attend awards evening for the diary each year for community pharmacy teams in both nations. The strong partnership with UCA NI has also seen the must have yearly diary and planner sent to all pharmacies in Northern Ireland.
Launching back in 2022 SF Media t/a PharmacyShows have up to now focused on providing regionalised events for Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. The day-to-day business is run by husband-and-wife team Richard and Amy with a small team supporting business operations.
SF Media were honoured to be approached to carry on the great work that has been undertaken by Maureen and Jason and will continue to work with them both in this transitional stage to ensure a smooth full transfer of the business. With an already strong relationship with many of the sponsors and advertisers of the awards and publication SF Media are well placed to take the business forward positively and maintain the hard work up to now from Jason and Maureen.

Commenting on the acquisition Richard Stephenson said “When we were asked if we were interested in taking on this incredible business we jumped at the chance. As a long-term attendee of the Scottish Awards, I have always been a huge fan. We look forward to taking the baton from Maureen and Jason and keeping the high standards and relationships going. We are particularly looking forward to working more closely with Adrienne and the board of UCA NI to see how we can add further value to that partnership too”
The acquisition will not see any pre booked sponsorship or advertising affected for 2025 business and these will be honoured as part of the acquisition.
