They celebrate the achievements, innovations, dedication and excellence of pharmacy professionals and teams across Northern Ireland.
If you are a pharmacy owner, manager, pharmacist, technician, or support staff, you have the opportunity for your work to be recognised through your contribution to the health and wellbeing of your community.
The winners will be announced at a glamorous gala dinner on Saturday 29 March 2025 at The Crowne Plaza Hotel

INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT IN COMMUNITY PHARMACY FOR INDEPENDENTS
This award seeks to recognise Pharmacists and their teams who have embraced new technologies and different ways of working to transform patient care, enhance safety and boost operational effectiveness.
WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
This category celebrates pharmacy teams, whether independent or part of a chain, that have achieved outstanding results through effective collaboration with other healthcare providers. Showcasing teamwork at its finest, we’re looking for pharmacies that have truly thrived by working together with other sectors to deliver enhanced patient outcomes.
COMMUNITY PHARMACY OF THE YEAR
This category is open to all pharmacies – either independent or chain – which can clearly demonstrate a strong business profile and a successful track record of providing initiatives and projects for the benefit of their local communities.
COMMITMENT TO HEALTH & WELLBEING
This category is open to all contractor or employee pharmacists, pharmacy teams working in independent or group pharmacies and practice-based pharmacists, who can demonstrate an outstanding contribution to their local communities through the provision of health and wellbeing initiatives.
PHARMACIST OF THE YEAR
This category is open to contractor or employee pharmacists working in independent or group pharmacies, this prestigious award celebrates individuals who have pioneered innovative and progressive initiatives that underline the essential role of community pharmacy in healthcare. Nominations are welcome from individuals themselves, their colleagues, or business owners, with all entries assessed by an impartial panel of experts
COMMUNITY PHARMACY SERVICE TRIBUTE
This category recognises the unwavering commitment and dedication of pharmacy team members who have served in a single pharmacy for over 20 years. This award celebrates individuals whose long-standing service has left a lasting positive impact on both their patients and colleagues, embodying the true spirit of community care. Nominations must be submitted by pharmacy owners or managers.
OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO PHARMACY PRACTICE
Awarded by the UCA-NI LTD board, this accolade will honour an individual whose contributions to the pharmacy profession have had a profound and lasting impact. Whether through leadership, innovation, or advocacy, the recipient will have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and influence, going far beyond the expected to enhance pharmacy practice and benefit the broader community.
