This event is designed to bring people around the table for honest, useful conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing community pharmacy, with partners joining the discussion rather than standing on the sidelines.
The morning will be built around two smaller roundtable groups, giving everyone the chance to contribute properly.
A practical discussion on how pharmacies are preparing for the growing role of Independent Prescribers, exploring how newly qualified IPs are being integrated into pharmacy teams and the support needed to make the role work effectively in day-to-day practice. The session will also look at how IPs are supporting the development of weight management and other private services.
A focused conversation on how pharmacy teams are managing recruitment and retention of support staff, including training, development pathways and keeping good people engaged.
Guests will begin at one of the two roundtable discussions before taking a networking break. After the break, attendees will switch tables so everyone has the chance to take part in both conversations.
The session will then be brought back together by the host, who will share key themes, views and takeaways from across both groups.
Sector Partners attending the event will be part of the roundtable discussions, giving them the chance to listen, contribute and understand the real challenges being faced by pharmacy teams.
Alongside the discussions, partners will also have the opportunity to network with attendees and share how their products, services or support can help pharmacies move forward.
This is not a sit back and listen event. It is a chance to be part of the conversation, hear what matters to pharmacy teams and build meaningful connections in a relaxed, useful setting.
